“ Came here on a recommendation from family while visiting Miami last Summer. My daughter was craving sushi and it was her turn to choose the menu. It's located in what appeared to be downtown Miami, in an outdoor shopping mall/district. Parking lot was close by around the corner. We walked in on a weeknight, on one of our last days in town. We were seated immediately, party of 5 with 3 kids. It's a lively atmosphere. Our server, Cindy, was awesome. She provided very patient, quick, attentive service. I got 3 orders of sushi, my kids/wife got their shrimp tempura rolls, soup and appetizers. Everyone devoured their food. It was all delicious. The drinks were very good too. I had an Old Fashioned and some sake. It was definitely a pricey meal but we were in Miami, so when in Rome..... I would definitely return. Seems like a fun area. Lots of people walking around. I'm curious what the vibe would be during the day as well. Cheers. ”
“ Really liked the sushi here. It's a fusion restaurant so they have lots of interesting flavors but also some great classics. We got the lobster roll and the tempura shrimp roll which were both very good. The decor and atmosphere was nice as well. ”
“ This place is a must go when in Miami. I've been coming here since they opened, and would visit their first location frequently. Butter Krab roll is just off the charts but they again, so is everything else. Super I beat staff, amazing service, and the food. Wow, the food!!! That's the star of the show, for sure. I have to always come here when in Miami. Greta ambiance, vibey music, and just overall cheerful experience. Will make anyone loves food smile from ear to ear. Bravo! ”
“ Pubbelly is an awesome spot for inventive and fresh sushi rolls and other fusion-y Asian foods. Icing on the cake is they're a South Florida business - always awesome to support local! Some of the highlights from my last visit were the short rib and truffle dumplings (so rich and flavorful), the butter crab roll (so tasty and buttery - as the name suggests!), and the hot summer roll (a nice, lighter roll with fresh hamachi). Awesome, attentive service from Cindy! Definitely check it out after a shopping day at Brickell City Center. ”
“ Stopped in for lunch and was seated very quickly--service was so fast too! We ate within 30m, great for lunch on a workday. The short rib dumplings were so rich, and the buttered crab rolls were delicious! The hot summer roll was also a nice spicy highlight to the meal. They contract-brew their house lager with a local brewery. The decor is pretty awesome too--love the mural over the bar. Definitely worth checking out! ”
“ Came for dinner with friends to celebrate our friends engagement on a Friday night. We did not have reservations but were accommodated outside as it did not seem so busy that night. We started with a lychee martini which was stiff and perfect. We ordered a few rolls and dumplings to start such as the crispy salmon roll and the short rib & truffle dumplings. The dumplings were amazing. As for service, not sure if it was an off night but the second round of drinks never came, our crispy salmon roll never came as well. For the roll, I had to ask the waiter and even so it took an additional 10 minutes. We had an avocado allergy in the table as asked if one of the rolls can be modified and were told no as they're pre-made which seemed odd the roll took 40 mins to arrive to the table. No biggie though as many of their other rolls do not contain avocado which is nice. As we sat outdoors, it was nice to people watch and feel the cool Miami breeze that night. The indoor is also decorated nicely. Overall nice experience. ”
“ I love walking in Brickell and trying new restaurants. We were in the Brickell City Center and saw Pubbelly Sushi. We never tried sushi in Miami so this was a first. This place seemed like a high-end chain restaurant. I am not a Miami local so take my advice on restaurants with a grain of salt. I was able to order it for pickup on Uber Eats. I am not a sushi expert by any means, so I had to base it on the highly rated reviews. The Butter Krab Roll was the highly rated special in Uber Eats. It came on Goma soy paper, kanikama, ponzu, and clarified butter. It was very delicious. You could taste the imitation crab in the roll and enjoy the flavor by dipping it in the sauce. The butter adds a nice bonus to the overall texture. I wish I had two or three more of these so I could be filled up with a large meal. Don't make my mistake and only order one roll. ”
“ Fantastic outpost of this sushi chain in Miami's glitziest shopping mall. The food, service and location are close to perfect. 5 star food: the sushi rolls are the star of this show: spicy veggie and hot summer rolls were terrific. The edamame was also terrific with what tasted like a meat flavoring mixed with the salt. 5 star service: our server was attentive and friendly. The front desk staffer was also great. 5 star ambience: it's on a quieter side hallway of Brickell City Center, with just enough bustle to have good people watching from an outdoor table ”
